This course offers an introduction to silk painting covering: materials and equipment; working with steam fix dyes; gutta resist; metallic resists; salt techniques; learning to apply resists correctly; learning colour blending; transferring simple linear designs onto the silk and finally, steam fixing and finishing.
This is a one day course where you paint an experimental piece and produce a finished design.
Times: from 10.00am until 4.30pm.
Day: Any day of the week - by arrangement.
Price: £195.00 for individual tuition or £150.00 per person for two students.
